Writer for hire from the Rocket City.
Whether you’re a local small business or a national agency, I’m here to help tell your story.
About Me
I’m a writer and editor who helps people get their message out to the world. Since 2020, I’ve created content for local small businesses and non-profit organizations, state universities, city museums, and even the United States Army. Everyone has a story to tell, whether they’re trying to change the world or just their neighborhood, and I’m here to make sure those stories reach the people who need to read them.
What I Do
Copywriting: I’ve been writing all manner of copy for the past few years: blog posts, articles, newsletters, email campaigns, press releases, and copy for entire websites. I work with my clients to find their unique voice, not just what they’re offering but why, in order to make sure their story stands out from the sea of forgettable auto-generated content. Whether the tone is professional or playful, whether the audience is local or global, I can create the personalized, high-quality copy you need.
Technical Writing: One of my specialties is researching complex material and being able to present it in a way that anyone can understand. I have years of experience working with scientific agencies and state universities creating informative material for general audiences and experts alike. I’ve also written training manuals, employee handbooks, and emergency SOP for commercial and government clients. When accuracy matters most, I can present that information clearly and completely.
Editing: as the son of an incredible English teacher, I’ve understood the importance of the written word since I first learned the alphabet. A good editor doesn’t just fix mistakes in spelling and grammar; they make sure a piece can convey its message as effectively as possible. I’ve lent my editing services to clients ranging from multi-million-dollar companies to local hobby groups, going line-by-line to make sure their work is the best version of itself that it can be.
